一、研究方向

本团队运用生态学前沿技术(如高通量16S/18s扩增子测序、宏基因组测序、宏转录组测序及数据分析)进行深入的微生物响应环境变化和污染物胁迫的分子机制研究,为环境治理与生态安全提供科学支撑。研究方向聚焦在以下三个方面:1)光合自养微生物的光合作用抗逆机制;2)环境微生物互作调控机制;3)环境微生物定向进化。在相关领域,团队成员先后承担或参与多项国家、省自然科学基金项目,发表高水平SCI论文28篇,获得国家或国际发明专利5项。

二、团队成员

徐魁,博士,副教授,硕士研究生,研究领域为环境微生物互作调控机制。曾获留学基金委项目资助到加拿大魁北克大学攻读博士学位。博士毕业后先后在加拿大和国内重点实验室工作,运用生态学前沿技术(如高通量16S/18S扩增子测序、宏基因组测序、宏转录组测序及数据分析)进行深入的微生物响应环境变化和污染物胁迫的分子机制研究。主要研究领域为:原绿球藻的光合抗逆机制及其与共存异养微生物的互作调控机制。在相关领域,先后承担两项省自然科学基金面上项目。在Environmental Pollution, Aquatic Toxicology, Journal of Hazardous Materials等学术期刊上发表SCI论文26篇。

陈春,博士,讲师,硕士生导师,研究领域为环境微生物定向进化。

三、研究内容

1. 光合自养微生物的光合作用抗逆机制

原绿球藻是地球上丰度最高的光合自养微生物,其通过光合作用释放的氧气占大气氧气含量的10%,对维持大气氧气和二氧化碳含量稳定起重要作用,生态意义重大。原绿球藻根据其在水体中的垂直分布可分为高光型原绿球藻和低光型原绿球藻。低光型原绿球藻不能在高光环境下生长的机制一直不清楚,是光合抗逆研究领域的热点科学问题。本团队通过研究原绿球藻光合关键蛋白含量、基因表达水平和PSII活性变化等,发现低光型原绿球藻对高光敏感是因为其清除PsbA蛋白的速率低导致的,揭示了原绿球藻抗逆新机制。

2. 环境微生物互作调控机制

水域生态系统中,真核微生物和细菌存在广泛相互作用,但这种相互作用机制如何维持生态系统平衡仍不清楚。本团队通过高通量测序技术分析水域生态系统中微生物间相互作用,发现真核微生物与细菌间相互作用普遍且重要,同时发掘了相互作用体系中关键物种。这些研究结果对理解水体微生物互作提供了关键基础信息,并对监测或调节水体生态系统提供潜在微生物种类。

3.环境微生物定向进化

微生物代谢产物海藻糖具有生命之糖美誉,拥有高度安全性和有良好稳定性,对生物体或生物大分子具有优良的非特异性保护作用,被广泛应用于医药、食品等领域。本团队通过基因数据库挖掘、微生物定向进化等技术手段,将制备海藻糖的酶热稳定性以及海藻糖转化率大幅度提高,为工业大规模生产制备海藻糖提供技术基础和理论依据。
